Greybrook is proud to have been a partner sponsor and participant of this year’s Constantine Yorkville Run, which ended Sunday and was a major fundraising success. Known for bringing local runners and businesses together for a race in support of local community charities, this year’s run went virtual for the safety of the runners and the community, transforming the 11th annual run into a two-week virtual event that kicked off on September 13th and extended through to this past Sunday. Members of our own Greybrook team laced up and took part in the virtual 5K run, with our donation supporting two local charities, The Common Table Program and Victim Services Toronto. The Common Table program supports those experiencing homelessness, isolation, and individuals dealing with mental health issues. Victim Services Toronto provides short-term crisis response, intervention, and prevention services to individuals and families after a crime or sudden tragedy.

The Constantine Yorkville run has historically fundraised more money per participant than any other road race in the country and despite going virtual, this year’s participants were able to surpass the event’s previous records, raising an impressive total of over $580,000. This achievement brings the to-date total to over $3.2 million, with the funds going to support over 30 deserving community charities.
