Jared Dykstra

Jared is a Vice President in Greybrook’s Asset Management group with over 10 years of experience in urban planning and real estate development. He is responsible for overseeing and co-managing active projects within Greybrook’s real estate investment portfolio and works directly with project stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of Greybrook’s real estate projects. Jared supports the team in conducting pre-transaction due diligence, including financial analysis and risk assessment throughout the underwriting process.

Prior to joining Greybrook, Jared held various positions including Senior Planner at Zelinka Priamo Ltd., Director of Development at Mason Homes, Development Manager at Sorbara Group of Companies and Project Manager at Delta Urban Inc. Jared has managed all aspects of the development process from acquisition due diligence through planning and regulatory approvals to final assumption and recovery of securities. Jared’s career has focused on greenfield development, including the advancement of critical macro studies and infrastructure necessary to support growth and the negotiation of various cost sharing, funding and development agreements.

Jared holds an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban Planning with a Land Development Specialization from the University of Waterloo and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics with Real Estate Development Specialization from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business. Jared is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.
