Jared leads the Low-Rise group within Greybrook’s Asset Management division, overseeing a diverse portfolio of active real estate projects. The group works closely with our development partners to ensure successful execution, as well as directly managing a subset of projects. It is also responsible for the underwriting, structuring, financing, and risk assessment of new opportunities.
Before joining Greybrook, Jared held various roles in both development and consulting. Jared has managed all aspects of the low-rise development process from acquisition due diligence through planning and regulatory approvals to final assumption and recovery of securities. His work has centered on greenfield development, including advancing major infrastructure and macro studies, and negotiating cost-sharing, funding, and development agreements.
Jared holds an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban Planning with a Land Development Specialization from the University of Waterloo and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics with a Real Estate Development Specialization from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. He is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.
