Jared leads the low-rise group in Asset Management, which is responsible for managing a subset of active projects within Greybrook’s real estate investment portfolio. The group works directly with project stakeholders and our development partners to ensure the successful execution of projects and is also responsible for the underwriting, financial analysis, and risk assessment of new development opportunities, working with executive leadership to structure and finance deals.
Prior to joining Greybrook, Jared held various positions in the industry in both a developer and consultant capacity. Jared has managed all aspects of the low-rise development process from acquisition due diligence through planning and regulatory approvals to final assumption and recovery of securities. Jared’s career has focused on greenfield development, including the advancement of critical macro studies and infrastructure necessary to support growth and the negotiation of various cost sharing, funding, and development agreements.
Jared holds an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban Planning with a Land Development Specialization from the University of Waterloo and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics with Real Estate Development Specialization from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business. Jared is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute.
