Following a landmark crane installation last year, construction at 138 Yorkville, our ultra-luxury high-rise development located in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood, is progressing well.
In recent months, the construction team has made steady progress on the underground levels, completing the major structural work for levels P4 and P3. This includes the formwork, installing reinforcing steel, sleeving for electrical and mechanical systems in the concrete, and pouring concrete for columns, walls, and slabs. Work has since progressed upward, with the vertical supports from levels P3 to P2 now finished. This has made way for the formwork for the P2 level slab, which is now in place, with reinforcing steel installed and electrical and mechanical sleeving underway in preparation for the upcoming concrete pour.
Developed in partnership with Cityzen and First Capital, this upcoming residence—distinguished by its elegant, curved silhouette, signature cascading trees, and refined blend of bronze and limestone—is set to redefine Canada’s luxury residential landscape and elevate it to a new level of global prestige.
Designed by visionary architect Brian Brisbin of BBB Architects and internationally acclaimed interior designer Alessandro Munge of Studio Munge, 138 Yorkville will feature 67 private residences across 31 storeys, offering two- and three-bedroom suites ranging from 2,400 to over 13,000 square feet.
As underground construction progresses steadily, the building is anticipated to reach ground level before the end of the year. We look forward to sharing continued updates as the project moves forward.
