We are pleased to report that construction at the College at Spadina is in the finishing stages, and is primarily focused on the completion of residential units on the 3rd through 15th floors. Trades are working in a logical sequence (e.g. framing, drywall, taping, sanding, painting, etc.) starting on the lower floors and moving upwards throughout the development.
Framing and drywall is ongoing on all residential floors, with taping and sanding of the drywall on the 3rd through the 10th floor. Priming for painting is underway up to the 7th floor, with ceramic tiling and finish carpentry in progress through the 5th floor.
Installation of appliances, bathtubs, and kitchen and bathroom cabinetry is also taking place on the lower floors. As construction continues on schedule, first occupancies are projected to commence in July/August of this year as originally planned.
