The 37th Annual Building Industry and Land Development (BILD) Association Awards in recognition of the GTA’s top builders, projects and marking initiatives were held on Friday, April 28th. The event boasted more than 1,200 industry professionals as attendees this year, who gathered to honour the best of the best in 51 categories. This year saw more than 900 entries submitted, reviewed by a group of 17 judges from across North America to determine the leaders in planning, design, sales, marketing, and city building.
Greybrook’s developer partner Empire Communities brought home several trophies, including Best Sales Video, Best Digital Marketing, and Best Marketing Innovation, while the Best Semi/Townhome Design (Large) award went to Fernbrook Homes.
One of the highest honours, the Lifetime Achievement Award, is bestowed upon a member who has spent their lives building homes, offices and recreational spaces in the GTA. We’re thrilled to report that the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Al Libfeld, principal and co-founder of Tribute Communities, for his contributions to the industry over the past four decades. Libfeld contributes his and Tribute’s success to his team, stating “I owe our success and achievements to the vibrant synergy of minds and hearts – working together as a team to take Tribute Communities to even greater heights of excellence.”
