Florida’s high-speed inter-city Brightline rail system will connect West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami through “the first passenger-rail train of its kind built in the U.S. in a century,” according to the Wall Street Journal. What makes Brightline so unique is its private funding: the entire $1.3 billion dollar project has been funded without cost to taxpayers and has government and transit organizations watching to see how the service will affect congestion and accessibility in each city.
With every Brightline station well-situated in the downtown core and a top speed of 125 miles per hour, travelling from city to city will be a breeze for everyday commuters and occasional visitors alike. The 60,000 square foot Fort Lauderdale Brightline station is nearing completion and is less than a ten-minute walk from our Fort Lauderdale rental development at 300 SW 1st Avenue.
Construction of Brightline’s 11-acre Miami hub at MiamiCentral continues to progress and is only a ten-minute walk from the site of our 300 Biscayne development.
