A sign unveiling ceremony took place on Friday, April 13th to signal the imminent start of construction for the new GO expansion in Courtice. Three bus bays, park-and-ride service and 109 parking spaces will be part of the new Courtice station, in addition to future train service provided by the expansion of the Lakeshore East GO line. Located on Courtice Road just north of Baseline Road West, the new GO Station will provide future residents of our Oshawa, Kingsview Ridge (Oshawa III), Durham II and Durham III developments with improved access to public transportation across the entire GTA. Construction of the parking lot/park-and-ride at the site of the future GO station is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2018, with GO Train service to the region expected to begin by 2024.
