Garrison Crossing, formerly named the Fort York pedestrian and cycle bridge, has made tremendous progress as the second and final bridge was recently hoisted and secured into its position over the Lakeshore rail corridor. With this latest milestone, the new pedestrian and cycle link will be fully operational in 2019, connecting the Liberty Village/Ordnance Triangle neighbourhood, where Greybrook’s Garrison Point and Playground Condominium projects are located, with Toronto’s Niagara neighbourhood and the Fort York area. Garrison Crossing is a great infrastructure addition to the area which will support the continued growth and accessibility of pedestrians and cyclists as they commute in the city.
