We are pleased to report that construction continues to progress well on our Garrison Point and Playground Condominium development with Cityzen Development Group and Fernbrook Homes. Designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, the towers in the Ordnance Triangle have begun peaking though Toronto’s skyline and taking structural shape.
Substantial headway has been made on several floors of the structures; the towers’ levels have risen since December of last year, with the angled roofline on the 35th floors now visible. Additional progress has been made on the cladding installation with dark tinted glazed windows and aluminum mullions enveloping the structure. Vertical metal fins that distinguish the towers have been erected, while installation of aluminum panels that will accentuate and frame the towers’ shapes remains in progress. Still to come are the balcony guards that will add some white crispness to the dark and metal structure, notably impacting the final appearance of the towers.
Designed to be a family friendly structure, the site is surrounded by ample green space and is a short walk from numerous entertainment and shopping amenities throughout the Liberty Village, King West and Queen West neighbourhoods.
