Greybrook’s ground-up multi-family projects in Miami and Fort Lauderdale set to become first Society Communities, a modern answer to well connected living.

Developer partner PMG recently unveiled their latest multi-family brand collection, Society. A platform of socially-focused apartment communities, Society addresses the strong demand for attainably priced rental housing in attractive urban locations across the U.S. Complementary to sister brand, X Social Communities (XSC), Society will offer traditional units and rent-by-bedroom (co-living) options for the modern professional, along with expansive amenities including co-working spaces, modern gyms and fitness studios, communal kitchens, convenient craft food and beverage options, tech enabled lifestyle and more.

Aiming to connect and elevate the resident experience through housing, Society communities are designed to foster an inclusiveand engaged shared living experience. Beyond the thoughtfully designed shared spaces, each community will host daily events to inspire personal growth and promote togetherness.  Seeking to be a more inclusive brand, “Society will allow us to reach more people with community-driven housing options in the best urban core locations across the country,” explains Ryan Shear, Managing Partner of PMG.

OUR SOCIETY COMMUNITIES

Greybrook’s current pipeline of multi-family rental developments with PMG fall under the new brand collection. The first project within the Society platform will be Society Las Olas (formerly known as X Las Olas) in downtown Fort Lauderdale, which is slated to open this spring. Phase one will include a 34-floor residential tower with 639 units and more than 100,000 square feet of communal amenity spaces. Society Las Olas will also feature 30,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, featuring restaurants, services, and entertainment along the New River waterfront.

Society Biscayne (formerly known as X Biscayne), in downtown Miami is expected to be complete in 2021 after breaking ground last June. The over one-million square-foot project will include 646 rental apartments, 51,000 square feet of commercial space and a 25,000-square-foot redesigned First United Methodist Church of Miami. Amenities at Society Biscayne will include a public lobby lounge and restaurant, co-working spaces, oversized modern gym and fitness studio with frequent group classes, massive pool deck and outdoor lounge, smart package lockers, bike storage facilities, and more.

Our most recent ground-up multi-family project, acquired last summer in the heart of Miami’s popular Wynwood neighborhood, will be develop into Society Wynwood. Slated to break ground this summer, the mixed-use project will similarly feature attainably priced luxury apartments with abundant and activated amenity spaces designed with an elevated and inclusive aesthetic.  The project will include approximately 220 apartment units, rooftop bar and restaurant, and more than 35,000 square feet of retail.
