We are excited to announce that our House of Assembly high-rise development in Toronto’s west end has achieved a significant milestone with the completion of the building’s topping-off. This signifies the final stage of vertical construction for the 16-storey high-rise, which is among the first of three planned condominiums in the Sterling Junction neighbourhood.
We celebrated this exciting milestone with a roof-topping event, alongside our developer partner Marlin Spring, as well as trades, consultants, and the project team who played crucial roles in achieving this accomplishment. With topping-off complete, as well as the concrete wall that runs along the eastern limit of the site, construction is now focused on window and precast installation, plumbing rough-ins, electrical cable, and corridor stud framing.
Once complete, the House of Assembly will be a key feature of a master-planned community, adding over 250 new units to the evolving community of Sterling Junction. This charming neighborhood, located between Bloor Street West and Dundas Street West, is known for its thriving artistic scene and is undergoing an impressive transformation with the addition of amenities, galleries, and creative industries. Surrounded by a diverse array of shops, eateries, fitness centers, and cafes such as Forno Cultura, Henderson’s Brewery, and Ethica Coffee Roasters, the development seamlessly integrates into the culturally rich and artfully inspired landscape of Sterling Junction.
Check back for future updates on this development and others.
