Greybrook invested equity capital alongside developer partner Lakeview Homes and oversaw the development of the Cambridge project, a low-rise housing development in the Southeast Galt Community of Cambridge.
Located less than an hour west of the Greater Toronto Area, the 200-acre parcel of land was successfully taken through a planning approval process approving the site for the construction of over 860 homes. Management made the decision to sell the approved development lands prior to the commencement of the build program. The property was sold to developer Treasure Hill with plans to complete the sale and construction of the homes in this new community.
The sale transaction successfully closed in 2021 and Greybrook and its investors exited the investment in early 2022.
