Society Biscayne Has Topped Off in Downtown Miami

Since the last update, our Society Biscayne tower is now standing at full height as construction continues to progress quickly on site.

Building top-off is a major construction milestone in the development of high-rise towers. In Q2 2021, our 49-storey Society Biscayne development – one of a growing number of Greybrook’s Society Living rental communities in development across the US – topped off. Construction is moving quickly with unit framing completed through the 26th floor and the installation of glass paneling surrounding the podium of the building is well underway.

Society Biscayne’s pre-leasing program is set to commence this summer with first occupants expected to move-in late 2021. Located in Miami’s rapidly growing Downtown, the 646-unit social living community features 40,000 square feet of amenity space including a sky pool bar, an oversized fully-equipped modern gym, and expansive waterfront views. The project is expected to be a highly sought-after residence by the city’s growing population, with 66.7% of the entire population being renters, according to recent statistics.1

Society Biscayne is located across from several Miami attractions including Bayfront Park, the American Airlines Arena, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, the Frost Museum of Science, and next to Greybrook and PMG’s future Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami, an ultra-luxury development that will be the tallest tower south of Manhattan and transform the city skyline. Miami’s Downtown is one of the city’s rapidly transforming submarkets and Society Biscayne is an important part of the area’s evolution into a vibrant live-work-sleep-play neighbourhood.

Society Living communities are designed to provide a growing urban renter population with an enhanced social living experience, along with co-living options that address the strong demand for attainably priced rental housing in attractive urban locations across the U.S.
