Greybrook Realty Partners Inc. announced today the successful closing of an equity investment by its managed issuer of $31,525,000. This investment will support the acquisition and management of a development spanning approximately 45 projected net developable acres, located at 10378 Highway 48 in Markham, Ontario. Together with our developer partner, Fieldgate Homes, the firm intends to develop the property into a master-planned community consisting of over 420 single-detached homes and townhomes.
Located approximately 30 kilometers north of the City of Toronto, Markham ranks as the fourth largest city in the Greater Toronto Area (‘GTA’) and the seventh largest in Ontario.(1) It is projected to experience substantial growth over the next three decades, with its population expected to reach approximately 619,000 by 2051, marking an approximately 83% increase from its 2021 population.(2)
