Dynamic new master-planned community from Cityzen, Fernbrook and DiamondCorp to rise near historic Fort York features sleek condominium towers and expansive townhomes

Cityzen, Fernbrook Homes and Diamond Corp are celebrating Toronto’s most exciting new community: Garrison Point.

A dynamic master-planned community comprised of five towers and a host of hot amenities, Garrison Point will rise just north of historic Fort York.”Garrison Point has been all about vision,” says Cityzen president Sam Crignano. “The vision to create a brand new community that will be nestled amongst some of Toronto’s most dynamic neighbourhoods. To the west is Liberty Village. To the north, King West. The lakeshore is to the south and, of course, downtown is just east. Garrison Point will be at the centre of it all.”Garrison Point will be home to sleek condo suites and expansive townhomes. So, whether you’re a first time buyer on the prowl for a stylish bachelor pad, or you’re looking for a downtown location to raise your growing family, Garrison Point is a place to call home.

Designed by award-winning architects Hariri Pontarini, the first tower will rise 29 storeys at Strachan Avenue and Ordnance Street. Acclaimed interior designer Munge Leung has created a new standard for ultra-chic living with some of the most remarkable interior spaces available in any Toronto condominium community. The grand lobby will exude distinctive urban elegance, while the residents’ lounge offers a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere.

Suites in the first tower range in size from efficient one-bedroom designs of 511 square feet, up to a spacious two-bedroom-plus-den design of more than 1,100 square feet. All suites at the first Garrison Point tower will feature soaring nine-foot ceilings, contemporary kitchens with granite counter tops and spa-inspired bathrooms with deep soaker tubs.

But the new homes are just one part of what will make Garrison Point so dynamic. The neighbourhood will have parks, cycling and walking paths, a proposed public pool and local shops. Even a fitness centre has been proposed. “Garrison Point will be so much more than an average development,” says Crignano. “We’re creating a real community.”

No matter what it is that you love about life in Toronto, you’re sure to find it at Garrison Point. And the surrounding area features some of the hottest destinations in Toronto — the trendy shops of nearby Queen West, the clubs and restaurants of King West, the über hip bars and restaurants on the Ossington strip, BMO Field, The CNE and more.

And thanks to its unique location, the homes at Garrison Point will also boast something that few other downtown condominiums can — protected views. “We know that a big part of why you purchase any downtown condo is for the view,” says Crignano. “And there’s nothing more disappointing than having that view replaced with another building just a few years down the road. But at Garrison Point, with the protected lands of Fort York to the south and parklands to the east, you’ll enjoy the most unobstructed views of any community in the area.”
