Union Station will have some competition as Toronto’s largest transit hub in September 2021 with the scheduled completion of the Mount Dennis station as part of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. The 19-kilometre light rail transit project along Eglinton Street will include 25 stops and provide access to more than 50 bus routes, three TTC subway stations in addition to GO Transit and Union Pearson Express (UPX) lines. With one entrance part of the former Kodak building, Mount Dennis station will link to GO, UPX and TTC bus connections, and also includes four levels of office space and a large auditorium for community use. The Eglinton LRT is currently well under construction and when complete, will not only revolutionize transit accessibility along Eglinton but will also improve connectivity for future residents of our nearby Upper Junction development throughout the GTA.
