Sami is the Director of U.S. Investments & Development, overseeing the firm’s high-rise and low-rise real estate portfolio in the U.S. He leads the evaluation of new investments and sits on Greybrook Realty’s Investment Committee. Sami is also responsible for the U.S. real estate development and asset management functions, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders that collectively seek to deliver on targeted investment outcomes.
Sami has held progressive roles at Greybrook in development, as well as private capital and institutional relationship management. Prior to joining Greybrook, Sami executed mergers and acquisitions advisory mandates as part of the global investment banking group at Scotiabank. Sami has led corporate initiatives in other previous roles, being central to the launch of a London-based corporate finance practice while at a Parisian investment bank.
Sami holds an undergraduate degree in business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and an advanced degree in political economy from the London School of Economics.
