Stockyards District Residences
If you take a drive along St. Clair Avenue West in Toronto’s west-end, you will come across our Stockyards District Residences, a modern mid-rise residence that is among the first condominium developments in the area and will drive growth and transform this corridor along St. Clair Avenue West. With construction completed this summer, Greybrook and Marlin Spring were eager to welcome purchasers to their new units with first occupancies starting in May and continuing throughout the summer months.
Avenue & Park
Our 35 meticulously designed suites at Avenue and Park, located in Toronto’s affluent Bedford Park neighbourhood, are nearly complete. The interior fit-outs of nearly all units has been completed over the past few months, with only those on the upper level remaining. With a beautiful lobby and amenity spaces, and carefully designed and customized suites, we were excited to welcome our first homeowners to their brand-new homes over the summer months and we expect to have all sold units occupied and closed this fall. The ground floor retail space is also being finalized and is expected to be operational within the next few months once the interior fit-out has been completed.
Evoke Modern Towns
Following significant construction progress at our Evoke Modern Towns community, the development was successfully registered this summer, a key project milestone. This milestone paved the way to commence home closings for occupied units and to go straight to final closings for units that are not yet occupied. We expect to have approximately half the total units closed before the end of the year and the remaining homes closed in early 2023. We are excited to continue to welcome residents to this new community that is in close proximity to shops, parks, restaurants, schools, and much more.
Sitting atop the highest point in the City of Toronto, next to one of the city’s largest urban parks and only minutes from the 401, you will find Downsview Park, Greybrook’s 205-unit urban townhome development with Stafford Homes. Following the completion of the interior finishing work on the final homes in the development, the project is ready to greet its final wave of home purchasers.
Over in the Town of Whitby, Lakeside living, greenspace, and various lifestyle amenities are only steps away from our Waterside Villas project. With construction completed on over half of the development, only two townhouse blocks are left to be framed with bricklaying currently in progress on the balance of the site. The first wave of occupants moved into their new homes in the fall of 2021, and registration was received earlier this year which allowed final home closings to commence shortly thereafter.
From the Town of Fergus west of the GTA to the City of Oshawa east of Toronto, townhomes and detached homes are taking shape across a number of our low-rise projects.
Located approximately 18 kilometers northwest of the City of Guelph is the picturesque heritage Town of Fergus, filled with beautiful parks and public amenities that make it an enjoyable place for residents and visitors alike. Situated in the heart of this quaint town is our Storybrook master planned community with developer partner, Tribute Communities, which is set to bring over 900 homes to the area upon completion. With the first phase of homes completed and occupied, home construction is underway for phase 2 of the development with these homes in various stages of construction and we expect home closings to commence before the end of the year. With servicing well underway, construction of the homes in phase 3 of the development are on track to start at the beginning of 2023.
Kleinburg EstatesSurrounded by picturesque woodlands and nestled within the protected Greenbelt Natural Heritage System in the Village of Kleinburg is our collection of 60’, 70’ and 90’ Estate homes at our McMichael Estates development with developer partner, Treasure Hill. With construction progressing rapidly, the homes are quickly taking shape and home closings are set to commence in winter 2022. Part of the rapidly growing City of Vaughan, the low-rise development is close to some of Southern Ontario’s top conservation areas and scenic golf courses including, Boyd Conservation Park, Pine Valley Conservation Area, Humber River Trails, and the Copper Creek Golf Club.
Located in the heart of Dufferin County is the rapidly growing Town of Shelburne that saw a 10% increase in its population between 2016 and 2021. Shelburne is home to our Emerald Crossing community with developer partner Fieldgate Homes. Homebuilding of this exclusive collection of 36’ and 40’ single detached homes and townhomes is well underway with homes at various stages of construction.
Traveling to the City of Oshawa, our Symphony Towns community welcomed its first homeowners early this year and occupancies continued to progress throughout the summer for the first phase of homes in the project. This low-rise development will bring 212 beautifully designed townhomes to an established and welcoming neighbourhood in Oshawa.
Following the completion of servicing at our Greenhill development, foundations were being constructed for the 115-unit townhome and single-detached community in the spring of this year with vertical construction of the homes started over the summer months. Located in the desirable North Oshawa area, our project and the neighbouring lands under development will bring hundreds of new homes to the intersection of Conlin Road East and Wilson Road over the coming years.
The Way: Collegeway
After selling out of all the remaining residential units earlier this year, construction of our The Way: Collegeway site is progressing steadily with first occupancies expected to start in early 2023. Part of an established community in Mississauga, the project is a 406-unit development comprised of urban townhomes, apartment condominiums, and commercial units in Mississauga’s Erin Mills area.
Archetto Woodbridge Towns
Within the rapidly growing City of Vaughan is the community of Woodbridge, home to our collection of 91 contemporary townhome residences, Archetto Woodbridge Towns. With the land servicing process and roadwork complete, the construction team is preparing to build the individual homes with the first block of footing for the townhome foundations currently being constructed.
Cranes are being erected, concrete structures are being built, and underground excavations are underway to bring new condo and multifamily projects to life in Toronto, Miami, and Atlanta. Here are just a handful of projects taking shape on the high-rise side.
In downtown Toronto, Artistry, our condo development at Dundas and McCaul with developer partner, Tribute Communities, completed the crane installation on site in the first stage of vertical construction. Across from the world-renowned Art Gallery of Ontario, and minutes from other major Toronto landmarks including Toronto City Hall and the CF Eaton Centre, the development site is well situated at the centre of urban life. Our 181 East mid-rise condominium is coming to Toronto’s Willowdale neighbourhood. With the recent erection of the crane on site, considerable progress has been made on the excavation program, which is now nearing completion, allowing formwork trades to mobilize and start the formation of the underground parking facility. We look forward to the completion of the building which will bring 185-units to this lively neighbourhood in North York.
Home to many families and young professionals, the Danforth neighbourhood will soon welcome our 27-storey mixed-use condominium located at the intersection of Main Street and Danforth Avenue. Following the completion of the two underground parking levels, forming has progressed up to the seventh floor, and we look forward to welcoming residents to Linx Condos in the latter half of 2023.
Over the border in the U.S., activity across our Society Living locations in Miami and Atlanta continued to see great progress. Society Wynwood is on the rise in Miami’s dynamic Wynwood neighbourhood with our construction team completing the pouring of concrete slabs for the first half of the building. Masonry, windows, and framing of the residential units will commence shortly and follow in sequence behind our concrete pours.
After breaking ground in late May of this year, our Society Atlanta construction team has been busy completing the drill shafts and piles to anchor the building to the bedrock below. Foundation work will progress over the next month paving the way for the start of vertical construction.
These are just a few of the many projects progressing through the construction phase. Planning approvals, servicing, design, marketing and sales plans, and project completions are well underway across our other projects. As we carry this momentum into the fall season and 2023, stay tuned for more updates on our active projects including upcoming sales launches for projects in Toronto.
