The City of Markham made headlines earlier this year when the province announced plans for the creation of a new York University campus in Markham in partnership with Seneca College. Markham is one of the fastest growing cities in North America and the addition of a post-secondary campus, serving an estimated 4,000 students in York Region, is sure to further boost the increasing population.
7350 Markham Road is one of the last parcels of developable land in the historic Armadale community and is perfectly timed to capitalize on the impending boom in housing demand. Tercot Communities, working in partnership with Greybrook Realty Partners and Cityzen Development Group on this project, issued a press release highlighting the merits of this area:
For immediate release – October 7, 2015

Markham is one of the fastest growing cities in North America. Markham’s population is more than 345,000, with a projected increase to 421,600 by 2031. The province recently announced that Markham will be the approved location for York University’s newest campus expected to open in 2018. As Markham continues to gain local and global recognition, affordable and innovative housing opportunities also need to be encouraged for students, seniors, singles and families.
