Members of Greybrook’s Institutional Capital Markets team recently attended and sponsored Future Proof Festival, the world’s largest four-day wealth management festival, held in Huntington Beach, California.
As part of its sponsorship, Greybrook supported the QWealth Canadian Lounge, a dedicated gathering place for Canadian attendees to connect in the evenings throughout the conference. With approximately 350–400 Canadians expected to attend this year, the lounge provided a central forum for advisors and wealth management professionals from across the country to connect, exchange perspectives and build relationships.

The Canadian Lounge was part of a broader event that brought together more than 5,000 professionals from across wealth management, financial advisory, private investing, asset management and financial technology. Over four days, attendees participated in educational sessions, networking opportunities and discussions examining how the wealth management landscape continues to evolve.
Among the themes explored was the changing role of the advisor as technology continues to reshape the industry. Sessions including AI-Native RIA, The Financial Advice Delivery System and The Human Advisor’s Edge examined how advisors can differentiate themselves as technology and investment tools become increasingly accessible.
Connecting with the Canadian Advisor Community
For Greybrook’s Institutional Capital Markets team, the strong Canadian presence at Future Proof provided an opportunity to connect directly with advisors from independent wealth management firms and deepen relationships across the Canadian advisor community.
The event also offered a valuable forum to exchange perspectives on the changing wealth management landscape and engage with professionals shaping the future of private markets and wealth management.
