Last night the Serbian Professionals in Real Estate (SPIRE) inaugural inSPIRE Series Event: The Path to the C-Suite took place at the exclusive TD Executive floor space on the 54th Floor of TD Bank Tower. The event focused on a panel discussion featuring three prominent SPIRE members: Michael Dobrijevic, Founder, Old Stonehenge Development Corporation, Natalie Vukovich, Partner, Daoust Vukovich LLP and Sasha Cucuz, CEO, Greybrook Securities Inc.
Moderated by Irena Stankovic, Environmental Outreach Manager, TD Bank Group, the panel discussion examined the panelists’ path toward the c-suite and their respective challenges along the way, as well as provided insight on their experiences within the real estate industry.
An interesting moment during the panel was due to the coincidental fact that each member had an athletic background, which prompted a discussion on how this experience influenced their careers. Cucuz spoke to recognizing the importance of teamwork, whether on the field or in the boardroom, as well as hard work, determination, dedication, and discipline, as crucial assets established through his athletic career which carried forward to his executive role. The only way to accomplish your objective is to work together, Cucuz believes, with each person understanding and executing their role successfully within the team for the greater success of the organization.
