As Greybrook’s first social living development with partner PMG enters its final stage of construction, a team of talented artists are hard at work putting the final touches on our project’s vibrant large-scale murals. Acting as a giant canvas, the façade of Society Las Olas’ parking structure has undergone a massive transformation over the last month as the towering public art comes to life.
What are sure to become iconic visual anchors for the Las Olas Riverfront, the creative art pieces are the work of popular Miami artist Andrew Antonaccio, who is known under the banner 2Alas. Known for his unique juxtapositional linear black and white portraits alongside colourful geometric abstractions, 2Alas is no stranger to large scale murals, with his distinctive pieces showcased across city walls internationally, including Italy, Switzerland, New York, Montreal, Puerto Rico and Cuba.
While the murals create a fun and inspiring backdrop, Society Las Olas’ vibrant social living scene will be further enhanced thorough its thoughtfully designed shared spaces that feature a trendy full-service bar and restaurant, lobby barber salon and café. This coupled with its prime location next to The Wharf Fort Lauderdale on the Riverfront, Society Las Olas is set to become downtown Fort Lauderdale’s most in demand social hub. With its pre-leasing program in full swing, you can now take a sneak peak of Society Las Olas’ extensive amenity offering and stylish spaces from home thanks to PMG’s recently released online virtual reality tour.
