Construction activity at our Lower JCT development continues to progress on the West TWNS and Auto BLDG. All plumbing and electrical rough-ins for townhome blocks 1 and 2 (two north blocks) are now complete, with insulation and drywall now being installed. For townhome blocks 3 and 4 (two south blocks), the rough-ins for plumbing and electrical are currently being installed. Over the next few months, installation of the brick exterior will continue and interior finishes (i.e. flooring, kitchen and bathrooms) will commence block-by-block, starting with the two north blocks, once all rough-in and drywall installations are complete. We expect first occupancies for West TWNS to begin this fall.
Construction work on the base building for the Auto BLDG is expected to be complete by the end of summer. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) has occupied floors 1 through 5 of the AUTO BLDG, and the grand opening is now scheduled for September 22, 2018.
